Fixed braces use brackets which are gently bonded to your tooth so there’s nothing to keep track of and your treatment carries on around the clock. A fine wire provides steady pressure to guide your teeth into their new position. Because they stay in place, they keep working day and night, with nothing to take out or remember.
Your braces are fitted at the practice, then you pop back regularly so we can make adjustments and watch your smile take shape. When your braces come off, retainers help keep your teeth in their new positions, so your new smile is here to stay. It’s a treatment you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Absolutely. Adult braces are a popular choice, and as long as your teeth and gums are healthy there is no upper age limit for orthodontic treatment. Age is no barrier to a straighter smile, and we also offer orthodontic treatment for teenagers, so we can look after the whole family’s smiles.
Having braces fitted should not hurt. Your teeth may feel mild tightness for a few days after your fitting and adjustments. Your cheeks and lips can take a little time to get used to the brackets.
