To all of our loyal patients,

We wanted to take this opportunity to update you with regards to the practice in these uncertain times.

Regrettably, the guidance of our Chief Dental Officer and the British Dental Association forced us to close the practice on 20th March 2020. All face to face appointments were cancelled, as many of you will know. We have been working our way through the diary and calling each patient personally to postpone appointments.

Please be assured, we are still available for advice over the phone and we have the ability to remotely prescribe medications if required. The practice mobile number is 07425 579228, you can call or text me. Alternatively, you can email me on info@alderleyedgedental.co.uk for advice.

In the past couple of days the government have opened Urgent Dental Centres - these are specific dental hubs for severe emergency treatment only. We have the ability to refer any of our patients to one of these centres if necessary. This essentially means that there is help available and I am more than happy to assist with a referral to these local hubs. They will accept trauma, extra-oral facial swellings and severe pain.

On a positive note, we have been using this time to make improvements within the practice. We are excited for you all to see the changes we have made! We have launched a new website and our social media presence has been improved. Please follow us @alderleyedgedental or like our Facebook page for updates.

Once it is safe to reopen we will be in contact to rearrange all appointments. We aim to increase our opening hours to accommodate and see you all as soon as possible.
