Dr Shyam Patel qualified from the University of Manchester, originally from London. He has a real passion for helping patients get their smile and confidence back.
Many of his patients have been told their case is difficult, whether that’s bone loss, gum problems, or previous treatment that didn’t quite go to plan. Dr Patel loves this kind of challenge.
He’s especially experienced in rebuilding and protecting the gum around implants, so the end result looks natural even in tricky, highly visible areas like the front teeth. He has attended extensive postgraduate training over the years to build this expertise, and continues to invest in learning the latest techniques so his patients benefit from the most current, well tested approaches available.
What patients tend to notice most is how unhurried he is. Dr Patel takes the time to really get to know your situation, talk through your options in plain English, and make sure you feel comfortable with the plan before anything happens. There’s no rushing and no jargon, just a clear, considered path to a result that lasts. He believes patients make the best decisions when they properly understand what’s involved, so he’ll happily go over things more than once if it helps.

Outside the practice, Shyam is kept busy by his wife and dog, and the two of them love to travel and explore new cities together whenever they get the chance.
